Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF) emerged on the Scandinavian fashion scene in 1993. Today, CIFF is the largest fashion fair in Northern Europe with over 40,000 m2 and countless brands housed under one roof. In 2012 CIFF unveiled a new array of services, new structure and a new visual identity designed by Mark Jubber. We took part in the implementation and development of signage and printed matter.

The signage is divided into a vivid exterior system and a more informative interior system. The challenge of the interior system was to help visitors navigate the fair and to communicate the new CIFF identity without stealing focus from the exhibitors' brands. With sizes and formats of all the signs already fixed we designed a set of principles that enabled the signs to keep the same expression regardless of the specific signs size and format. The images used on the exterior signage are all shot by Daniel Riera.

This project is done in collaboration with art director Victor Lieberath.
